40-Year-Old Woman Killed, 1 Airlifted after Stephenville Car Accident on Morgan Mill Road; Justin Schrader Arrested
Stephenville, Texas (January 22, 2019) – One person was killed and another was hospitalized Sunday evening following a DUI crash in Stephenville, police said.
The fatal accident occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20 in the 100 block of Morgan Mill Road.
According to the police, Justin Schrader, 24, was driving a Dodge pickup truck in an unknown direction on Morgan Mill Road when his vehicle collided with a car operated by a 40-year-old woman.
The woman died at the scene and her passenger was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with unspecified injuries.
A passenger in Schrader’s vehicle was treated at the scene and released. Schrader was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The crash remains under investigation.
