One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway near West Mount Houston
Houston, Texas (May 21, 2019) – A person was killed in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident Sunday night in Houston, according to a local news release.
The deadly accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. May 19, on North Freeway near West Mount Houston.
As per the release, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons on the roadway.
The car driver fled the scene after the accident. Another driver followed the suspect to a home off Imperial Valley and called the police.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he later died.
No other information was available.
The police are conducting the investigation.
