One Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at Ed Bluestein Service Road and Loyola Lane

Austin, Texas (April 6, 2021) – One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in east Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash occurred around 11:20 a.m., April 5, at the intersection of the southbound Ed Bluestein Service Road and Loyola Lane.

Officials said an 18-wheeler collided with a car at the intersection.

Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.

One person was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
