Driver Killed in Harris County Crash at Cypresswood Drive and Champion Forest Drive

Harris County, Texas (April 12, 2022) – A driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Harris County on Monday, authorities said.

The deadly crash took place at the intersection of Cypresswood Drive and Champion Forest Drive on Monday, April 11.

According to the authorities, two vehicles collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances. Due to the impact, one of the vehicles slammed into a tree.

One of the drivers died at the scene.

The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending notification of the family.

It was not immediately clear if anyone else was hurt in the crash.

Police temporarily closed the westbound lanes of Cypresswood as the investigation took place.
