One Killed in Houston Crash at Lee Road and Greens Road

Houston, Texas (June 2, 2022) – One person was killed Wednesday night in a crash involving two vehicles at an intersection in Houston, according to Houston police.

The fatal two-vehicle crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. on June 1 in the 15900 block of Lee Road at Greens Road.

Police said a blue Buick LeSabre was traveling northbound on Lee Road when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Greens Road and hit the front of a maroon Jeep Cherokee that was heading eastbound on Greens Road.

After the impact, the Buick ended up in a ditch and flipped onto its roof.

The driver of the Buick was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The 22-year-old woman driving the Jeep did not suffer any injuries. She was not intoxicated and was released from the scene.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
