One Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 30th Street and University Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (April 17, 2021) – According to the police, a pedestrian was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run crash in Lubbock.

The deadly accident occurred just after 10:15 p.m., April 16, in the area of 30th Street and University Avenue.

Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection. The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
