1 Killed in Hit-and-Run on Parliament Drive in San Antonio

One Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Parliament Drive at Blanco Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 5, 2022) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by two vehicles Saturday night in San Antonio’s North Side, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on June 5, in the 11800 block of Parliament Drive at the 11800 block of Blanco Road.

Police said a man was walking in a crosswalk on Parliament Drive when he was struck by a Kia that was making a left turn on Blanco Road.

The Kia driver stopped and rendered aid. 

The man was then struck by a Mitsubishi, which was making a left-hand turn as he was laying in the roadway from the initial impact. 

The Mitsubishi driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to University Hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The Mitsubishi driver was located near an apartment complex.

The police are investigating the crash.
