One Person Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Katy Freeway at Silber Road Thursday morning

Houston, Texas (August 4, 2022) – A traffic crash has claimed the life of one person early Thursday morning on a freeway in Houston, according to Houston police.

The deadly wreck occurred at about 5:51 a.m. on the Katy Freeway inbound at Silber Road.

A motorcycle and a pickup truck were involved in the crash.

One person, whose name has not been released, died in the crash.

Police temporarily closed all main lanes inbound on the Katy Freeway at Silber due to the crash.

No other details were available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
