One Killed in Odessa Crash on West University Boulevard near Vega Avenue

Odessa, Texas (August 8, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Odessa on Sunday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly wreck occurred at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, August 7, on West University Boulevard between Vega Avenue and Timberline Avenue.

DPS said several vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the exact number of the vehicles was not immediately provided.

One person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
