One Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway near Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, Texas (November 26, 2022) – One person was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Dallas, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 5:48 a.m., November 25, on southbound Dallas North Tollway near Mockingbird Lane.

Authorities said an unoccupied SUV was disabled in the fast lane of traffic when a second SUV hydroplaned and crashed into the vehicle and the median barrier.

The driver of the second SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of the tollway. The lanes have since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
