One Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 45

Austin, Texas – One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Austin, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on State Highway 45.

Police said the crash involved a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed North SH 45 westbound just before the US 183-toll road, near Parmer Lane. Traffic was diverted to the frontage road and motorists were urged to find alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
