1 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on US-90 in Harris County; William Trainor Arrested

21-Year-Old Man Killed in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on US-90; William Trainor Arrested

Harris County, Texas (March 18, 2023) – A 21-year-old driver was killed early Thursday morning in a wrong-way crash in Harris County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 2:15 a.m., March 16, in the 3100 block of US-90.

Deputies said William Trainor, 52, of Harris County, was driving a pickup truck the wrong way when he struck a Kia Soul head-on.

Both drivers were airlifted to the hospital, where the driver of the Kia died from his injuries. His name has not been released.

Trainor was treated for minor injuries and was found to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash. He has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
