Police Officer Seriously Injured in Galveston Crash at 81st Street and Steward Road
Galveston, Texas (April 29, 2019) – A police officer was seriously injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash at a Galveston intersection, according to the authorities.
The crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. April 28, in the area of 81st Street and Steward Road.
Authorities said two patrol cars were responding to a call on FM 3005 and 7 ½ Mile Road when they collided at the intersection.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found three police officers who had been involved in the crash.
One of the officers was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch with serious injuries.
No further details were provided.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
