One Person Seriously Injured in Lubbock Crash on Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (August 13, 2022) – A person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday night in Lubbock, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

The major-injury traffic crash was reported at about 10:04 p.m. Friday, August 12, in the 5500 block of Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Lubbock police said two vehicles collided on Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Photos from the crash site showed a marked security vehicle on the side of the roadway.

One person sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
