One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at Interstate 27 and Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (December 6, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident was reported just after 6:00 a.m., in the area of Interstate 27 and Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said a silver passenger car and a maroon SUV collided in the northbound access lanes.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed the southeast intersection. Traffic from Parkway Drive westbound onto Marsha Sharp Freeway, I-27 northbound access road and traffic exiting I-27 for Marsha Sharp was diverted.

An investigation is underway.
