1 Seriously Injured in DWI Crash at Texoma Parkway and Grand Avenue in Sherman; Cody Hutchins Arrested

One Seriously Injured in Sherman Two-Vehicle Crash at Texoma Parkway and Grand Avenue; Cody Hutchins Arrested

Sherman, Texas (December 28, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Wednesday night in a DWI crash in Sherman, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m., December 22, at the intersection of Texoma Parkway and Grand Avenue.

Police said Cody Hutchins was driving a black GMC pickup truck southbound on Texoma Parkway when he ran a red light and crashed into a white GMC truck that was trying to turn eastbound onto the parkway.

Hutchins was found to have been intoxicated and was arrested for intoxicated assault with a vehicle.

The driver of the white truck was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A passenger in the truck didn’t have any significant injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
