One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident at 4th Street and Alcove Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (September 8, 2022) – According to the police, one person was seriously injured Wednesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Lubbock.

The accident happened around 7:38 p.m., September 7, at the intersection of 4th Street and Alcove Avenue.

Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
