Sherman, Texas (January 20, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash Wednesday morning in Sherman, according to police.

The crash occurred just after 9:00 a.m., on U.S. Highway 75 at the Angels of Care parking lot.

Police said a semi-truck left the highway and hit a person and three vehicles in the parking lot.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The accident closed the northbound frontage road, and the northbound I-37 was closed down to one lane.

The police are investigating the crash.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws or statutes which were violated.
