One Seriously Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on South Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (November 3, 2022) – One person was seriously injured Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 7:30 p.m., November 2, in the 4900 block of South Loop 289.

Police said a pickup truck and a box truck collided on the westbound access road.

One person had to be extricated from the pickup truck and was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
