10-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 37th Street

Lubbock, Texas (May 13, 2022) – A 10-year-old was seriously injured Thursday evening in a pedestrian crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident was reported around 7:50 p.m., May 12, in the 4000 block of 37th Street.

Police said a pickup truck was traveling westbound when it struck the child on the street.

The child was taken to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.

No additional details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
