Child Killed in Greenville Pedestrian Accident on Lee Street
Greenville, Texas (March 3, 2019) – A 12-year-old was struck and killed by a cargo truck Thursday night in Greenville, according to a local news release.
The deadly accident happened a while before 8:00 p.m. February 28, in the 1400 block of Lee Street.
Police said the child was crossing the street on the railroad tracks when the truck struck them.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
The police are investigating the crash.
