17-Year-Old Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 84 in Limestone County

17-Year-Old Killed in Limestone County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84 near LCR-368

Limestone County, Texas (February 12, 2022) – A teenager was killed Thursday night in a wrong-way crash in Limestone County, according to Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on February 10, on Highway 84 near LCR-368, east of Prairie Hill.

DPS said a Ford Conversion van was traveling eastbound on the wrong side of the road when it crashed head-on into a westbound Toyota Camry.

The passenger in the Toyota, a 17-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Occupants of both vehicles were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
