18-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Corpus Christi Bicycle Accident at Weber and Holly Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (August 14, 2021) – According to the police, an 18-year-old was seriously injured Thursday night in a bicycle accident in Corpus Christi.

The accident happened around 9:50 p.m., August 12, at the intersection of Weber and Holly Road.

Police said the teenager was riding his bicycle along Holly Road onto Weber in the bike lane when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old.

The driver of the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of a business after the accident.

The teenager was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
