Woman Killed in Arlington Pedestrian Accident on S. Cooper Street
Arlington, Texas (February 5, 2019) – An 18-year-old woman who was struck by a car Sunday morning in Arlington has succumbed to her injuries, according to the police.
The accident happened at about 11:30 a.m. February 3, in the 2000 block of S. Cooper Street.
Police said an SUV was heading northbound on Cooper Street when it left the roadway and drove onto the east sidewalk parallel to the lanes where it struck the woman.
The woman was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday afternoon.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The Arlington Police are investigating the crash.
