2 Children Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 in Troy

Two Uvalde Boys Killed in Troy Crash on Interstate 35

Troy, Texas (November 24, 2022) – Two children were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening near Troy, according to a report released by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly crash happened at around 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, November 23 on Interstate Highway 35.

As per the DPS report, a 2017 Nissan Titan pickup truck was traveling on the interstate when the driver failed to control the speed and crashed into several vehicles.

Two boys, 13 and 8-years-old, were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of next of kin.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
