Two Customers Injured After Car Crashes into Corpus Christi Staples St. Meat Market

Corpus Christi, Texas (April 5, 2021) – According to the police, two customers were injured Sunday morning after a vehicle crashed into the Staples St. Meat Market in Corpus Christi.

The crash was reported just before 10:00 a.m., April 4, in the 7626 block of S. Staples Street.

Police said an elderly woman accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake and crashed into the property.

Two customers, including one who is pregnant, were struck by the vehicle.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation is underway.
