Two Injured in Lubbock Car Crash on 50th and Avenue Q

Lubbock, Texas (July 31, 2019) – At least two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that occurred near an intersection in Lubbock on Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.

The crash took place at about 11 a.m. near the intersection of 50th and Avenue Q.

Police said two occupants were trapped in the car and had to be rescued by emergency crews.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries was unknown.

The driver of an involved pickup truck was unhurt.

The crash is under investigation.
