Deputy, Police Officer Injured in Madisonville Crash on East Main Street

Madisonville, Texas (August 4, 2019) – A deputy and police officer were injured late Friday night in a traffic accident in Madisonville, according to a local news source.

The wreck occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, August 2 in the 700 block of East Main Street.

As per the report, a City of Madisonville police car was t-boned by a Madison County Sheriff’s Office SUV.

The deputy sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The police officer had minor injuries but was not hospitalized.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
