2 Injured in Crash Involving Dump Truck at Sherwood Way and Loop 306 Frontage Road in San Angelo

Two Injured in San Angelo Multi-Vehicle Crash at Sherwood Way and Loop 306 Frontage Road

San Angelo, Texas (December 7, 2019) – Two people were injured Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash involving a dump truck at a San Angelo intersection, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on Friday, December 6, at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Loop 306 Frontage Road.

Police said a white dump truck was heading southbound on the frontage road when it ran a red light and was hit by a white Chevrolet Silverado, which was heading westbound on Sherwood Way.

The dump truck then hit a silver Ford F-150, pushing it into a black Chevrolet Trax.

One person in the F-150 was taken to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Trax was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.

The dump truck driver was cited for disregarding the red light.

The crash remains under investigation.
