Two Hurt in Providence Valley Rock Hauler Crash on FM 2931

Providence Valley, Texas (June 29, 2019) – Two people were injured when a car collided with a rock hauler on Friday afternoon near Fishtrap in Providence Valley.

The incident happened at about 4:45 p.m. Friday, June 28, on FM 2931.

Authorities said the car slammed into the rear of the rock hauler for unknown reasons.

A passenger in the car had to be pulled out of the wreckage by the emergency crews. The victim was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash caused a closure of FM 2931 as the scene was examined and cleared.

The incident is under investigation.
