Two Injured in Mesquite Two-Vehicle Crash on I-30 at Gus Thomasson Road

Mesquite, Texas (December 22, 2019) – Two people were injured in an alleged hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Mesquite, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on Thursday, December 19, on Interstate 30 at Gus Thomasson Road.

As per the report, a vehicle hit a pickup truck on the highway and then fled the scene.

An overhead sign was also hit during the crash.

One person had to be extricated from the pickup truck. The victim, along with another victim, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash closed the highway for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
