Two Injured in San Angelo Crash on U.S. Highway 277 and Grand Canal Road

San Angelo, Texas (May 28, 2022) – Two people were injured late Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on a highway in San Angelo, authorities said.

The wreck took place on U.S. Highway 277 and Grand Canal Road on May 26.

According to the authorities, a Jeep was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 277 when it collided with a Ford Ranger that had pulled from a stop sign onto U.S. Highway 277.

Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Their names were not immediately disclosed.

No further details about the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
