2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Transmountain in El Paso

Two Seriously Injured in El Paso Crash on Transmountain

El Paso, Texas (February 28, 2023) – Two people were injured, one seriously, following a two-vehicle crash on Monday evening in El Paso, according to authorities.

The rollover crash occurred at about 5:03 p.m. Monday, February 27, at the summit of the mountain near mile marker 17.3.

Authorities said two vehicles collided on westbound lanes of Transmountain.

One person was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The second person suffered minor injuries.

Police closed the lanes in both directions during the investigation.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
