2 Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash on Central Freeway in Wichita Falls

Four Injured in Wichita Falls Four-Vehicle Crash on Central Freeway near Maurine Street

Wichita Falls, Texas (December 23, 2021) – Four people were injured Wednesday evening in a four-vehicle crash in Wichita Falls, according to the police.

The crash happened on December 22, on Central Freeway near Maurine Street.

Police said several cars swerved to avoid a disabled vehicle, resulting in a crash involving four vehicles, including a City of Wichita Falls bus.

The bus driver and one of the other drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash backed up traffic on Central and Northwest freeways.

The crash remains under investigation.
