Two Injured in Lubbock Three-Vehicle Crash at 98th Street and Slide Road

Lubbock, Texas (May 30, 2023) – Two people were injured Monday evening in a three-vehicle crash in south Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened around 6:22 p.m., May 29, at the intersection of 98th Street and Slide Road.

Police said two passenger cars and a pick-up truck were involved in the crash. The pick-up truck reportedly ended up on top of one of the cars.

One person was trapped in their vehicle.

One person sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Another person sustained minor injuries.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of Slide.

The police are investigating the crash.
