2 Injured in Trailer Tractor Crash on I-35 near West

Two Injured in West Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35 near Wiggins Road

West, Texas (September 1, 2022) – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash south of West, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 6:00 a.m., August 31, on IH-35 northbound near Wiggins Road.

Authorities said a truck tractor semi-trailer lost control in the rain and overturned, blocking all the northbound lanes of traffic.

A Dodge Ram towing a recreation vehicle then crashed into the overturned truck tractor semi-trailer.

The driver and the passenger of the truck tractor semi-trailer were taken to Baylor Scott and White for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
