Two Injured in Sherman Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1417 near U.S. Highway 82

Sherman, Texas (April 4, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Sherman, according to police.

The crash happened on Friday, April 3, on FM 1417, north of U.S. Highway 82.

Police said a truck was heading northbound on FM 1417 when it hydroplaned, crossed the center line and was hit by a southbound van.

The impact caused the truck to flip over, partially trapping a woman under it.

The woman and the van driver were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
