Two Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Marsha Sharp Freeway and West Loop 289

Lubbock, Texas (January 9, 2022) – Two people were injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in West Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash was reported around 11:15 a.m., at the intersection of the Marsha Sharp Freeway and West Loop 289.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person sustained serious injuries while another sustained moderate injuries.

Traffic around the intersection was diverted following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
