Two Injured in North Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Research Boulevard

Austin, Texas (July 6, 2022) – Two people were seriously injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in North Austin, according to the authorities.

The crash happened just after noon, July 4, in the 9011-9099 block of Research Boulevard.

Authorities said the crash involved two vehicles, including a Tesla.

One person was pinned in the Tesla and had to be rescued.

One adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center. Another adult was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. Both victims had potentially serious injuries.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
