2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Parmer Lane in Austin

Two Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Parmer Lane at Dallas Drive

Austin, Texas (August 13, 2021) – Two people, including an Austin police officer, were injured early Friday morning in a wrong-way crash in northwest Austin, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 3:00 a.m., on Parmer at Dallas Drive, north of McNeil Drive.

Police, a driver, was driving the wrong way on Parmer Lane when they crashed head-on into a patrol unit.

Both the officer in the patrol unit and the wrong-way driver, who was intoxicated, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No other information was provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
