Two Injured in Burnet County School Bus Crash on U.S. Highway 183 near County Road 211 between Andice and Briggs
Burnet County, Texas (October 5, 2018) – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a traffic accident involving a Burnet CISD school bus and an 18-wheeler in Burnet County, according to a local news source.
The collision occurred at an unspecified time Thursday, October 4 on U.S. Highway 183 near County Road 211 between Andice and Briggs.
Authorities said the bus was struck by the 18-wheeler while it was making a left turn onto CR 211.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), no children were on board, but the bus driver and a bus monitor were injured.
The bus monitor was then transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
