Two Killed and One Critically Injured in Kaufman County Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 80 near Ham’s Orchards

Kaufman County, Texas (December 25, 2022) – Two people were killed, and another was critically injured Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Kaufman County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 11:30 p.m., December 23, on U.S. Highway 80 just east of Ham’s Orchards, approximately two miles west of Elmo.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Both drivers were killed in the crash. A passenger was critically injured and was airlifted to a local hospital.

No further information was provided.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
