Two Killed in Aransas Pass Crash on I-35 and Marshall Lane

Aransas Pass, Texas (February 15, 2019) – Two people were killed and one other injured when a vehicle was hit by an 18-wheeler on Wednesday evening in Aransas Pass, police said.
The incident took place shortly before 7 p.m. February 13 on I-35 at the Marshall Lane intersection.
Aransas Pass police said a passenger car was crossing I-35 at Marshall Lane when it was T-boned by a northbound 18-wheeler.
The woman driving the passenger car and one passenger were killed in the accident. A second passenger had to be freed by the emergency crews. The victim was then transported to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital with critical injuries.
The 18-wheeler driver was not injured.
Police are investigating the deadly collision.
