Two Killed, One Airlifted after LaWard Crash on Highway 172
LaWard, Texas (December 23, 2022) – Two people were killed and one other person was injured in a two-car crash in LaWard on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, on Highway 172.
According to the authorities, a single-cab pickup truck collided head-on with a small, four-door SUV.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was airlifted to a hospital in Houston in unknown condition.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
