2 Killed, 2 Injured in Alleged DUI Crash on Richmond Avenue in Houston

2 Men Killed, 2 Hospitalized after Houston Car Accident on Richmond Avenue near Hillcroft Sunday morning

Houston, Texas (July 29, 2019) – Two men were killed and two other people were hospitalized after an alleged DUI crash in west Houston early Sunday morning, police said.

The deadly accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 28  in the 6400 block of Richmond Avenue near Hillcroft.

According to the police, a Lexus occupied by the two men, was pulling out of a driveway when for an unknown reason, it was T-boned by a Cadillac on Richmond Avenue.

Both vehicles then slammed into the median after the impact.

The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.

At least two people in the Cadillac were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Authorities said the Cadillac driver faces one count of intoxication assault and two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
