Two Killed and Two Injured in Dallas Car Crash on Interstate 20

Dallas, Texas (November 15, 2020) – Two people were killed, and two others were injured in a fiery traffic collision Friday night in the Rylie area of southeast Dallas, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 9:25 p.m., November 13, on Interstate 20.

Deputies said a silver 2006 Chrysler Pacifica was traveling westbound on the interstate when it crashed into a truck-mounted attenuator that had just parked and was in the process of lowering the attenuator.

The impact caused the Pacifica to catch fire.

The Pacifica driver and a 41-year-old woman, who was the front-seat passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two back-seat passengers, a 16-year-old girl, and an 18-year-old woman were taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in unknown conditions.

The crash remains under investigation.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.
