Two Killed and At Least 2 Injured in NW Harris County Multi-Vehicle Crash on West Mount Houston Road

Harris County, Texas (March 2, 2020) – Two people were killed, and at least two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night in northwest Harris County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 8:15 p.m. March 1, in the 2900 block of West Mount Houston Road (State Highway 249) near T C Jester Boulevard.

Authorities said a vehicle was speeding and changing lanes when it was involved in a collision with several other vehicles. At least six vehicles were involved in the crash.

The driver and passenger of the speeding car were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

A father and his 12-year-old son, who were in another car, were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Traffic was diverted at Breen Road.

The crash remains under investigation.
