2 Killed in Fiery Crash on Tollway 130 in SE Travis County

Two Killed in SE Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash on Tollway 130 near Elroy Road

Travis County, Texas (June 11, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, two people were killed Wednesday night in a fiery two-vehicle crash in southeast Travis County.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, June 9, on Tollway 130 near Elroy Road.

DPS said a 2010 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound in the right lane of the tollway while a 2009 Ford-E350 was legally stopped on the right shoulder of the tollway.

The F-150 traveled onto the shoulder and crashed into the Ford-E350.

Both vehicles then traveled off the roadway and caught fire.

The driver and a passenger of the Ford F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

No other details were provided.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
