2 Killed in Head-On Crash on U.S. 271 in Titus County

Two Killed in Titus County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 271 near Talco

Titus County, Texas (June 14, 2020) – Two people were killed Friday night in a head-on collision in Titus County, about four miles north of Talco, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. on June 12, on U.S. 271.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 29013 GMC Sierra pickup was traveling southbound on the highway while a 2019 GMC Terrain was traveling northbound.

For unknown reasons, the Sierra crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into the Terrain.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
