Two Killed in Tyler County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 69

Tyler County, Texas (January 13, 2021) – Two drivers were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday night in Tyler County, just north of the Hardin-Tyler County line, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:30 p.m., January 12, on US 69.

According to a preliminary investigation, a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle were involved in a head-on collision.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

The crash closed all lanes of Highway 69.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
